All of a sudden, the everyday objects that we were surrounded by as children have become nostalgic. They are from the background of a scene in our memories, and they are tangible, physical pieces of it that still exist today. For me, childhood was in the 90’s, and these objects are proof it happened.

I have captured these objects using studio lighting and composite photo stacking. Minimizing shadows gives the images an intentionally abstract look, while the photo-stacking results in an incredible level of detail showing dust, scratches and rust - evidence of utility, and quality.
